You have a sharp eye for pacing and know how to keep viewers watching. You can take raw footage and turn it into something polished, engaging, and easy to follow. Whether it's a tutorial walkthrough, an entertainment edit, or a fast-paced montage — you know how to match the tone and make it land.

You're comfortable working with gaming footage, you understand YouTube-style editing (jump cuts, zooms, motion graphics, sound design), and you take pride in delivering clean, high-quality work. You're reliable, communicative, and always looking to level up your craft.

What Does the Role Look Like?

You'll be editing video content for Map Academy's YouTube channel and social platforms. You'll receive raw footage, scripts, and creative direction — then bring it all together into a finished product.

• Edit tutorial, explainer, and entertainment videos from raw footage and screen recordings.
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and sound effects to elevate production value.
• Color correct and audio mix to maintain a professional standard across all content.
• Work closely with the content creator to match the brand's tone and visual style.
• Deliver edits on time with revisions based on feedback.
• Adapt content for different platforms — full-length YouTube, Shorts, TikTok, etc.
• Maintain and build upon Map Academy's intro/outro packages, templates, and brand assets.
